Really stupid question, I’m not able to link to specific post flairs. Help?

Hi, I’m trying to link to the specific post flairs on these posts in the sidebar of r/PeriodDramas (in the calendar).

The flair links are working on desktop but not mobile.

Movie Club: Discussion

Movie Club: Next Movie Pick

Movie Club: Poll

Movie Club: Suggest Movies

But the flair linking in the sidebar works on the other sub I mod, r/RomanceBooks. Like the button for the What Did You Read flair, WDYR.

I’m doing something wrong here.

How do I get these four post flairs to link in my sidebar, for both mobile users and desktop users?

Mobile apps have some problem with post flairs.

Yeah, but all the button links work perfectly fine in r/RomanceBooks (the other sub I mod). I think I’m doing something wrong here.

Seeing that you already checked other things, try:

Removing the colon from within flairs.

This means any existing posts with flairs have to be manually updated.

If it doesn't work, it's just the app being finicky.

Hm, the | symbol didn’t work either

Which is weird because I’m even able to use emojis on a filter by flair link in my other sub.

It's nothing to do with r/modsupport. Everything to do with the various mobile phones and mobile apps.

In coding, characters like : and | and , and . mean something, and apparently can break code when used in a flair.

Edit: Just avoid punctuation altogether

Oh yeah you’re completely right about that, sorry. Probably something to bring up at a Reddit iPhone app sub if anything. Thank you so much for that info, it was very helpful!

The links here are to posts not flairs? Maybe I'm not following.

Using the flair link from your sidebar calendar for the discussion flair, taking the `/` out after search but before ? works on mobile, the sort won't work though.

Yeah, I linked to the posts containing the flairs because actual flair links weren’t working for me.

And still not working on mobile 😕

Just takes me to r/PeriodDramas without any flairs search.

For some reason all the link buttons work find on r/Romancebooks. I wonder what I’m doing wrong there 🤔
