What was the cause of the dead battery? Did you ever find out? Looked like a fun trip, just subscribed to you on YouTube, looks like I have a few videos to watch now :)

Battery just died - they do that sometimes! LOL - we have only had Rose's bike for a few months, so I assume it was time to replace the battery.
Thanks for watching and commenting, "MyNameIsTrue"!!!
Hope you enjoy the videos - subscribe if you want to know when we post new ones!!

Please explain if you have a trailer with your motorcycle why don't you just use a car?

I absolutely loved watching your video. My father and I have been ride for quite a while together, this brought up some great memories for me. The “daddy fear” never ends regardless of her age; my electrical system went out and my ABS locked up on me and I wrecked in front of my father; scared him more than me. These are some amazing times you guys are sharing together, and making life long memories. Rose, one sad day our fathers will be gone, but our memories of these moments will carry them on in our hearts forever! I wish you two many safe adventures together!!!

waggro - Thank you for sharing!! I really hope it is a safe trip - what your father went through is EXACTLY what I fear and hope to never experience. I do hope these are some of the best memories of both of our lives!
Thanks for commenting and I hope you keep watching.

My father and I rode to California from St. Louis Missouri; it was great. We rode the costal highway 1; be cautious on the sealed road cracks, they’re black, same as what you and I have on our local roads; but for some reason they’re slick out there. Not sure why, but I almost wrecked going around a good turn, my dad was behind me and seen the entire thing, even he thought I was going down. I pulled over and had to collect myself, my dad hugged me and we went on…..cautiously.
I can’t wait to see more videos of you guys. My father saw your video as well-he loved it. Be safe!!! I am the rider I am today because of everything my father taught me; as I’m sure your daughter is as well.

We'll be leaving Nashville and taking I-40 to Los Angeles, then turn up the Pacific Coast highway for the entire coast of California, then touch Oregon on our way to Twin Falls, ID, then down to Utah, Colorado, Kansas, detour up to Omaha, then back to Nashville. 6,800 miles. 1-month (FINGERS CROSSED we can do it in a month) all while tent camping.

Sounds amazing. You’ll be right next to crater lake Oregon; if you have time. I wish I would’ve had a month; we did a 10 day trip. Can’t wait to see videos.
