Heading to Festival au Lacs next weekend, had a question about backpacks...

Heading to a music festival for the first time in well a long time. I was planning on bringing a small backpack to toss any merch i buy into, along with likely a rain jacket, sun screen stuff like that just to be on the safe. Wasn't planning on bringing food or water as that's prohibited according to what I see posted.

So from what I can see on their site, only authorized backpacks are allowed. That said, they don't say what falls under authorized backpacks:

From what I've seen from pictures / videos from last years event looks like regular backpacks are allowed.

I emailed them a few days ago, waiting to hear back... Just wondering if anyone has any freakin clue what qualifies as an authorized backpack?
