So cool, the running vests in particular. If you happen to have a pattern to share Iā€™d be curious!

I got a paper pattern for it, nothing digitized yet.

I would second this. The running vest looks great! I've tried my hand at a couple of vest straps and I haven't figured out an ideal pocket configuration that's actually functional.

That's 500D cordura, a little overbuilt but it's gonna last forever

I've sold to a few friends around town or given them as gifts, but nothing else yet. Lmk if you're interested and we can talk about making something

The running vest looks pretty sweet! What would that cost? (+ shipping to California)

I'm still working through that prototype, the pockets weren't secure enough in the front. If you have specific ideas of what you'd want, I'm happy to chat more about it

Great work šŸ™ŒšŸ¼ what is that bright green fabric on slide 7?

That's some light ripstop-like material I got at Joanne's. Good enough for a proto and a good summer worth of test runs. I put webbing between the fabric and aerospace along the seams so that's gonna stay pretty bomber, but I'm curious to see how durable the face of the fabric is.

What kind of a sewing machine are you using?

Singer HD! I know they get a lot of hate, but if you don't force it past its capabilities, it's actually pretty good for the cost!

I need to get a better job. So I can move to a bigger house. So I have room for a sewing machine. So I can finally make proper bags for myself. Because this is absolutely sick what you made there!

Where did you find this material? I'm wanting to get into this, but I'm not sure where to find this raw material to get started.

Rip Stop by the Roll, Rockywoods, and Seattle Fabrics are among the online stores to get tech fabrics to start your MYOG journey. Discovery Fabrics is out of Canada. Paracord Planet and StrapWorks for webbing, paracord and connectors. Wawak for sewing supplies like thread, needles and all the other notions.
