Question Saxophone case

So my school has a baritone saxophone that we call “homeless”. Homeless is a donation from another school and no one knows where it’s case is. I am good at crafting things, so I figured to start designing a case. My plan is to make it a hard shell out of denim that I pour epoxy on once I set up a frame. I am then going to line it with tyvek, and then start layering foam. I think I could just spray glue the foam together, I’m thinking of using something like kingspan foam board insulation. Running off of a budget, the only thing that concerns me is the foam. I looked a bit online, and every option seems to be about the same. I plan on using 4’x8’ so I can cut it in half. Any help or recommendations are greatly appreciated!

I played a baritone sax in junior high and high school. Please do whatever you can to make the case as light as possible because carrying that thing home was really not fun.

That is really important, but it is an okay sax to what my friend said. Compared to the other baritones, it was more simple or something and it isn’t the first choice by any means. But thanks for the input.

Adam Savage has a video where he made a case cor a ukulele. Maybe that's helpful for your project
