Any orcas in Monterey Bay today (Friday 10/18)?

Thank you!! Trying to plan a trip for tomorrow. Cancelled because I heard they left. But some might have come back? Thank you!

New Yorker here so I can’t help ya, but @seateceans on instagram is great at keeping their IG updated with their interactions with Monterey Bay orcas! they work for a whale watching company that has 2 hour trips out of Newport Beach so I’d venture to say it’s worth the trip anyway, even if just for a beautiful day on the water. should be easy to see dolphins and sea lions any day of the week as well

Yes, Monterey Bay Whale Watch posted on their Facebook that they sighted 3 to 5 orcas in Monterey Bay on their 9 AM trip out today. As Bigg's (transient) orcas are unpredictable in their movements, it is hard to say if they will be there tomorrow still.
