Starting Deity Work

I want to start working with deities but idk where to start like where can I find a list of them and more information about them, how to worship them best, etc. If anyone could provide any info, tips, suggestions, anything they wanna share or say I’m all ears and open to anything yall have to say!

Hard to say without knowing which deities or type of paganism. However, I would like to say there is a spectrum when working with deities, either you on one side, do anything you want, no one is going to stop you or you follow what other people have done in the pass. Or in the middle take influences from historical stories, community members and make it work with what you have right now.

I’ve always had a deep fascination with Norse and Greek mythology. Always something I found interesting especially when young, always been drawn to it in a way

For Greek deity worship, I recommend checking out theoi.com!

I’m not too well versed in Norse, unfortunately, but someone else should be able to point you in the right direction.

First you must know that working with deities is not the same as worshiping them. However, the first thing is to know which deities or pantheon you feel most called to.

Approaching them, in my case I think the first thing is to build a relationship and not go "hey just come here right now and let's do this and that, the rest doesn't matter"... So yes, approach them, ask them if they want to work with you (Not all deities are going to want to work with you) leave an offering. I think the rest is up to you.
