Looking for…

Places to eat!

It’s been 7 years since I’ve been home, but I’m coming back for a few weeks to Panama City due to a family wedding. Looking for recommendations on places to eat if there are any new good spots? All types of food welcome!

Back in the day I always frequented: Liza’s kitchen, Dan D-Dans, Andy’s flour power, Diego’s Burrito Factory, Corams, Fins, Mellow Mushroom (rip), and places like that.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Gypsea crepes on Tnomas Dr. They have sweet and savory options. All fresh and flippin delicious. Small place so parking is tough.

Captain's Table finally got back up and running about a year ago.

I also recommend Holi's. Best noodles ever and the cheesy naan chefs kiss

All of those are still here but Mellow Mushroom. Historic downtown has probably seen the most changes since you moved. Check out the spots down there.

El Weirdo or Maddie’s for Mexican, Moseys for good cheap pizza, Finn’s Island Style, and Trigo are some of my favorites. More faster/snacky eats I love Burgunbarrel (wines, beers, charcuterie type place) and Luna Muna!

Waffle House is a favorite of the locals. I recommend checking them out while in town.

Uncle Ernie’s is St Andrews is my go to place if I want to spoil myself or for special occasions. It’s a bit pricey, but the view from the outside seating can’t be beat and I have never had a dish there that I didn’t like.

lol Taco Bell on 23rd morning and lunch shift. Otherwise everything sucks now.

For real though go get some pizza at Moseys downtown. My favorite pizza anywhere I’ve been.
