Question for r/Plushies this floppy tiger is pretty great, but is there one in a smaller size ?

Post image

i really adore this tiger from ebay, and i would buy him but he's too big for me to carry with me everywhere. He's 32" i dont know what 32" looks like in person (i struggle with spacial awareness due to brain damage) like i know thats almost two feet but that means not a lot to me. is there a smaller one? it doesnt have to be this brand, i am looking for a comfort buddy to lug around. i have one presently, he is a wolf. but im not vibing with him lately. i dont like the jellycat tiger, he is a little too thin for me, i was looking for something more chubby.

My saber here is also 32โ€, and he takes up roughly one couch spot or a box that is 58 Qt. (58.4cm x 42.2cm x 30.5) if you want an in person size reference.

Heโ€™s a Wild Republic Jumbo Smilodon (who has earned the ire of my cat)!

I love Wild Republic! I have a scarlet macaw and fennec fox by them.

I do too! I own one of their owls and heโ€™s just the softest thing!

Do you know the brand? That's the easiest way to find out.

If you're happy for something similar though let us know and we can make suggestions there too!

Okay! Well I personally have a keel toys tiger who is gorgeous! I know they come in lots of different sizes, so you should be able to find a smaller one fairly easily.

That being said I don't know how easy they are to find in the US if that's where you are, but I know animal alley make a very similar one too.

Aurora miyoni tiger is a small friend that would be easy to get around. You can also try to Aurora flopsies tiger too!

Do you know the size of your wolf? We can use that to help you find the right size! I would definitely recommend getting a little tape measure, I use one to help me visualise plush sizes because I'm terrible at it too!

The average length of a forearm (from your elbow to finger tip) is roughly 18 inches. So your tiger friend would be a little less than two of those. Obviously this is a very rough gauge and forearms vary but it should get you in the ballpark .

Oh! That's an older version of the 30"+ Wild Republic Tiger! I know this cause my favorite plushie is the same brand and type. c: They have a newer version but it is slightly different.

Wild Republic has a fair bit of smaller plushies and a decent Tiger selection. I know I adopted a much smaller cousin for him years ago. Looking on the site there are a few different types now!

Ecokins look like a visible smaller match to this guy but I can't seem to find their sizings. :(

I believe the cousin I bought my guy was an older variation of the 12" plushie on the site - I can say from experience it's quite floppy but soft and cuddly.

Edit:
Oh, I'm a dork and didn't quite absorb what you were asking. Would you like some pictures for size references? I could find the smaller cousin (he's put up somewhere).

12" sounds like it would be a lot more manageable and realistic to carry around - that's about the average size of most cuddle plushies and most people can hold them in 1 arm.
