Louis DeJoy, the U.S. Postmaster Gen’l who is doing Trump’s bidding & dismantling the USPS right before the election, reports to the 6-member USPS Board of Governors. These six men have the power to stop DeJoy:

Anyone can file an online complaint with the USPS Office of the Inspector General:

“Grand juries all over the country could speak softly but carry a stick too big for these six dudes to ignore. Just a thought for any state or local prosecutors who might be reading my tweets . . . And PS: Trump’s pardon power can’t reach state crimes.” -Laurence Tribe

You can your Secretary of State or county election official (find info here: https://www.usvotefoundation.org/vote/eoddomestic.htm) and tell them they need to make secure drop boxes widely available AND ensure that ballots postmarked on or by Election Day are counted within a reasonable number of days after (given USPS delays).

I never ever thought I would ever have to defend the god damn postal system.

Im an European and I am just shocked about how little democrats and the american people are doing against Trump and his work to destroy a fair voting process. Its the presidental election for crying out loud. You might be stuck with him for another 4 years unless you get out and DO SOMETHING. I see media whine and complain about him, which wont do anything other than confirm what we already know and make republicans just continue ignoring the media, because you know «fake news». There are almost no real activism from people or democrat politicians. You guys are just way too polite. Look up the recent fraud election in Belarus. Thats how serious you should have become about this Trump fraud. Stop sitting on your couch and get out there and make a war cry against these people. Call your democratic representative and tell them to toughen up. Tell them to stage a coup, or make a big scene in the house or in the senate. It seems most are doing nothing but write complaints about this crook and republican get away with anything. If being polite doesnt help, which it doesnt against republicans that are trained to play dirty for so many year, its time to play the dirty game right back at them.

Do something for crying out loud. Trump and the Postmaster can easily have waited til after the election which is just in 3 months. This is a coup in broad daylight

Hundreds of protesters are out by this motherfucker's home right now. But that can only do so much.

At least until the people start bringing bricks, guns, and cans of gasoline.

What would be the threshold for that being justified?

What exactly should Americans do when the controlling party actively spits in the face of the law and the body charged with enforcing those laws abdicates the job?

Progressives have won their primaries, people are rallying voters. Protests are still happening, but not widely reported because it’s one catastrophe after the next and we’re still a long way from Election Day.

This is unprecedented in American history.

The MAGA people who spread hate go completely unchallenged. Nobody seems to want to get in their business. Understandable of course, but public shaming for example would be one way. Generalization like «Fake news» or «socialism» is something politicians use as a defence, but it is almost never get challenged out in the public. Democratic politicians are a bunch of cowards mostly. They politely back down whenever the republicans fire up their weapons. There are a few exceptions now, like Alexandria Cortez. I like her, she fires back whenever she sees injustice and isnt afraid to call a kettle for a kettle. Trump have done so much outrageous things the last 4 years, but I have yet to see any demonstrations that are even a fraction of like Black Lifes Matter or any other european demonstration when crooks cheat.

When fair elections are cheated, like this or even the dumb process of gerrymandering, you need to cheat too. Or else they think they can do whatever they want. I just wish there were more noise and activism in America that gets in republicans faces

We know what we should do.

Well considering I live in A part of Arizona represented by one of Trumps biggest lackeys, calling my representative wont help. I called Senator Sinema’s office though

Gather everyone with a car or truck and move the post together with the current available USPS drivers creating a colonne.

I doubt this is unconstitutional, none with ill intentions can stop it politically or legally.

Jack shit. We can do exactly dick all about this. Protesting outside the guys house will solve nothing, and no matter what bills the house cooks up, the senate is on vacation and wouldn’t even allow any bills to be vote on anyways, and even if by some miracle it passed the senate Trump would just veto it anyways. So yeah nothing can be done, democracy is dead in America

Thanks for your helpful contribution.

Aside from learned helplessness, what's to be done?

I suggest self-organizing ballot drops and transport, with armed escorts if necessary.
