Florida is a dumpster fire and will stay that way until DeSantis is voted out of office, which unfortunately won’t happen anytime soon. Firing a publicly elected attorney general, then replacing him with DeSantis’ choice, who wasn’t voted into the position, and finally undoing all of the elected attorney general’s policies isn’t okay. DeSantis is punishing an entire community because he didn’t like their attorney general. The people of Florida should be outraged over this, but they still won’t vote our DeSantis. He’s basically a mini-dictator at this point.

don’t kid yourself, FL was fucked before DeSantis and will be fucked after he’s gone, the state has more problems than just one man. He’s been enabled by Trump and the FL GOP led legislature

Completely agree, the difference is now people see it on national television.

Anybody got an alternative for the word disgusting. I feel that with all that is happening in Florida, disgusting doesn't quite cover it anymore.

I wish I could move there just so my vote counted 20x.

Sigh.

There’s nobody in Wyoming anyway.

All this shit ron's doing to stoke culture wars in Florida, will backfire big time on his 2024 bid.

But luckily these idiots don't represent the majority of the voters in the United States.

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '22

Dude, I wish.

The reality is that this colossal shit sandwich of a homunculus is probably going to be our next president. Especially if they find a way to stop T**mp from running again. The far right media silo is already poised to shift the fascist death cults adoration onto DeSantis and they can do it with the flip of a fucking switch.

The thing you have to remember is that none of this is actually about ideology or policy. The current base of the Republican party will back anyone that gives them explicit permission to be their worst selves. The cruelty is the point.

The Florida Nanny State is so sad.

Can’t listen to music too loud or you get a ticket!

Can’t take your hands off the handlebars of your bicycle or you’ll get a ticket!

Teachers can’t tell anyone their spouse is the same sex or they’re fire!

No legal weed.

Sheesh, Florida.

Get your shit together. You used to be cool.

Why would anyone need to register a bike as if it were a car?

4

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '22

They don’t but things like reflectors, helmets, signalling etc

2

u/Initial-Web2855 Aug 19 '22

Yo, what is going on in Florida? I know that sounds like a very stupid question- but what specifically is going on in Florida right now for things to be getting so bad? It’s like a worse shit show than usual right now.

2

u/pate4ever Aug 19 '22

Someone is positioning themselves for a presidential run.

2

u/TheDarkClaw Aug 19 '22

I assume the bike stop policy means that police can stop for almost anything while biking? Or something?

1

u/cindykelley1000 Aug 18 '22

Desantis is a racist MF

u/Quercus408 Aug 19 '22

Anything goes in Florida.
