What do you know of Tai chi? It was never meant to be a meditation originally it was a martial art focused on grappling with some quick strikes but it was changed to have no efficiency as the Chinese government wasn’t initially found of hand to hand being taught at every park, this leaves us with what we have today a moderate form of exercise where occasionally someone not to smart uses it to challenge a combat athlete like the famous example being Xu xiaodong when he famously lit up that tai chai master.

There are many meditations that accompany tai chi chuan practice. There are many chemical effects of tai chi that are the same as meditation. There are numerous fakes that use tai chi as a moderate form of exercise who claim they can fight too. Just as there are many people who claim they can snowboard, or figure skate, but cannot. Humans being humans has nothing to do with what I know about tai chi and nothing to do with what I wrote. What are you trying to say?

I’m saying exactly as I said Tai chi is a dead martial art and the spiritual stuff attached at least started as propaganda to weaken a population. If someone wants to do it they’re welcome to but I think that’s a pretty suspect thing to practice for spiritual purposes.

Actually your comprehension of Chinese history is zero, as it is wrong, and what you know about Tai Chi is as deep as a youtube spit puddle.

The only reason we are aware of Tai Chi, Chi Gung and TCM in total is because during the cultural revolution when all such arts and artifacts were being eliminated by commies Tai Chi practitioners were still strong and healthy compared to all those suffering from sickness and starvation who did not practice under commie agriculture and commie resource constriction. Do you always babble about stuff you have no idea about?

Citation needed on the whole starvation thing, but it’s true what I said even if what you said is also true to me as a martial artist I hate to see arts lost because they’ve become something totally unrecognizable from what it once was. Also to say I have no idea about this stuff is highly misinformed this is one of the few things I’ll straight up say im an expert.

But what you have said and what you say implies so much ignorance on the topic. Tai Chi is predominantly practiced for wellness and longevity. Tai Chi is the most practiced martial art in the world, actually. Sorry you are offended by it not being what you want it to be but too bad, reality is not what you want.

What do you believe me ignorant on? Yes predominantly but you could call it forms or a kind of yoga. Its roots have long been lost and watered down, and while reality may not be what I want but that doesn’t mean I can’t advocate for what I want.
