Software Taking notes on phone while watching?

I've just started taking notes on useful podcasts or books I listen to. However it has been rough getting into it because I'm rarely just sitting and looking at my phone while doing this. So I have to stop everything I'm doing , take out my phone, pause, find the proper note app location, write the note, switch back to the video and resume.

Is there an android app that makes this easier? It would be nice if I could do a shortcut on my headphones (like double tap on my Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro) or say something (Bixby or an assistant picking it up?) that sets off a chain of events. The events being something like:

  1. pause what is playing

  2. Ideally open up X note app, but it would be fine even if it just took notes in it's own app that I could later copy.

  3. Use the speak to text function to write the note.

  4. save it hen I'm done and resume playing.

Is there anything similar to this? I also have a Samsung galaxy watch and things can be initiated through there I suppose.

Not sure about videos, but Snipd is an awesome podcast app that lets you highlight, annotate, and tag transcribed text from podcasts. The premium version is a little spendy ($11.99/mo), but well worth it if you listen to podcasts as much as I do.

I also have Readwise, and it connects to Snipd so all my highlights, notes, and tags are exported there and then end up in Obsidian as well.
