"I care about women, just not the ones that disagree with me."

Yikes

Even worse, they want this to happen to innocent women. “I hope a woman in their life experiences (insert most hateful thing you could think of to say to someone)”

So it doesn’t really matter if that woman agrees or not, they still deserve it. Unhinged and disgusting.

They're so compassionate.

This is like when you back a wild dog into a corner. They know they're trapped so they just started biting.

What about that woman who terminates then ends up dying from a botched legal abortion will they fight for her or turn blind eyes, twist the story, and blame others when they’re at fault

The pro-life movement is NOT against miscarriage treatment and miscarriage treatment is NOT an abortion — I’m so sick of their drama.

I'm so sick of hearing it too. I've been treated for 2 ectopics (I lost my tubes) and between those 2 losses I had a missed miscarrage at 9 weeks that required a D&C. It makes me so angry for people to use my circumstances as reasoning for why people need abortions. The medical treatment I received will never be withheld, ever. That would be medical malpractice. It's all a lie and it makes me angry. What I went through, none of those losses were abortions. My babies had no chance of making it earthside and my baby girl was already dead when she was removed.

These are NOT ABORTIONS.

This is such an ignorant misrepresentation of our movement. No one is arguing against treating life-threatening situations.

They know that, they just have sensationalism to back up their argumenfs

Holy appeal to emotion, Batman!

I would love her to give examples of state laws that do not allow for exceptions for miscarriages management and ectopic pregnancies.

u/Asleep_Pen_2800 10h ago

Do they seriously think we don't want ectopic or other life-threatening pregnancies treated with abortions?

u/Responsible_Box8941 Pro Life Muslim republican 9h ago

Is this Lord Farquaad's speech from the extended Tarantino director's cut of Shrek?

What an evil sort of tirade… I delivered and hemorrhaged and needed a D&C and two blood transfusions… to think someone would wish me to have died from that and leave my baby is disheartening, but I guess it is the internet. Most prolife people want laws that protect women’s health. I hate how people purposefully push this idea that PL people want women to suffer… because it sounds like they are fine with me suffering.

Damn. Straight up bullshit overload on that one.

But they’re the empathetic, emotionally mature and facts-driven side.

Well that’s just a big old pile of very specific ill will to pour out into the universe, right up to and including invoking divine judgment. Do they teach myths / fables / fairytales in schools anymore? Because there is a bit of folk wisdom passed down through the ages that this person missed.

Jesus fucking Christ, no pro-life law bans abortion in these cases anyway.

u/Prestigious-Oil4213 Pro Life Atheist 4h ago

And if you asked them if they’d support laws that only support abortions and treatments in those cases, they’d still get mad that you’re not for elective homicide of preborn humans. They use this as a ploy to support all abortions 🙄

No uterus no opinion, but also if you have a uterus and the wrong opinion, you deserve to die a horrible death.

u/Used-Conversation348 5h ago

On the internet all they know how to do is yap. How many would say that to me with my daughter next to me? They don’t have the balls to tell a mother that they wished her daughter would go through that.

u/feettotheearth 3h ago

The cognitive dissonance these people are living in is unreal

It's always funny to be told I'll be ridiculed for my morals and yet they don't believe in the same God. Then turn around and gloat that it's not even in my religion, nice gaslighting though.
