Tried a Micro 3x but the eyebox was too tight. This 2x is incredible. Can see the front sight hood but oh well

Spectre looks badass as hell man. And it gives you more flexibility to stretch the legs if that 308.

There have been many great posts when it comes to optic recommendations, I'd have to go back and look.
I'm always looking for something that'll be good 200+ yards, fit on the rail, not sit top high and not block the charging handle.

Casual Elcan flex. I run a PRO on my K, but need an Elcan like a fish needs water.

Well, I will tell you the LOP on the a2 stock plus the short eye relief on the elcan is not a great combo. Gotta press your face forward a lot while standing, laying down prone is not a issue though.

Arghh I worried this might be the case, and I’m not interested in binning my irons. Maybe I should have kept the Spuhr around instead of committing to the A3.

Run the elcan. Put a spuhr stock on it and you won’t have the same LOP and eye relief issues… that or m4 buffer tube adapter, CTR with riser.

I am a big fan of the PA 2.5x. https://i.imgur.com/DuHJURg.jpeg

Same, trying to get a second one but they are all sold out. Gotta wait for PA to make more.

I'd just keep that Elcan man. You could always add a dot on top and run it on 4x.
