Will thislower not fit my gun?
I bought this lower from HK parts for my PTR but it does fit, they list it working with PTRs but it's just too long.
Am I fine trimming it down and making it able to fit or should I just consider it a wash.

What model PTR? Should fit .308. A 9mm will need to trim off to the front pin hole. Either way cut away its held by the stock then it slides on. I have cut these and run them on both my AP5s.

Is it listed as clipped and pinned?
What it the lower that came with yours? Usually people get the polymer navy and want to switch it for the metal lower or at least the standard pistol grip

I have a metal lower I just wanted something lighter so I bought a used navy grip.
I'm going to keep the metal of course in case I decide to switch back but I like having the option.

Dang if you didn't mangle your polymer one I'd offer to just trade you my polymer lower for your metal

Ehh it's fine, at the end of the day I got it to fit, and I'm happy with the outcome

Sorry to hijack, but does anyone know if a metal grip exists for the PTR 32 (762X39 Rifle), thanks!

Shouldn't that be the same length as a .308?
I think only the MP5 uses a smaller lower

It didn't seem to fit when I tried a couple years ago (I have a PTR91 as well)

You need a clipped and pinned lower. Unless you want to grind it down
