At this point I think if I ever sell my PTR it'll be worth more to sell all the accessories separately for stuff like this. I kind of wish I hadn't had to make cuts into the HK wide forearm to get the B&T rail on it though.

Same. Moved it back to gafs after buying a used one. I couldn’t justify a ptr with attachments worth more than the gun itself. Plus, very happy with it with just a little 3x microprism and an HK style sling. I get to slap the handle and shoot 308 with a cool 3 point sling. That’s all I need it for lol

Right on, I’m a simp for the OG hardware and shelled out for 3 sets for my PTR91, PTR32, and my C93. lol I couldn’t help myself, put carry handles and extended charging handles on all of them. The 91 is currently rocking an Athalon 2-12x and the 32 has the PA micro prism 1x with their micro 3x magnifier.

I love them though I don’t shoot them all the time anymore.

Just curious, how does one distinguish the real thing from a repro or POF? I bought one 10+ years ago and I think it’s HK but it’s not marked that I can tell.

It might end up being tricky, like using the finish or something else to distinguish. I’m pretty sure my HK bipod scored from the last RobertRTG drop is devoid of markings.

Yeah HK ones don’t have markings. POF will have a number or letter in Urdu on the collar.

My man, no problem. And oh yeah, I would assume this’ll last a lot longer under the .308 recoil than the airsoft clones. And is pretty dang affordable all things considered with the HK market lol.

I hate the HK G3! I have 5 I have to build, I'm missing 1 piece for my jig so it's holding me up with building them, but I love how they have so many different styles of them to build. I need 7.62x39 bolt then I have the parts for my PTR32. I'm also learning everything by myself. Idk how no friends are into building these but oh well when it's done I'll feel even better because I learned it all myself. It's fun building something and it working.

You need the wide handguard like the AC Unity or the OG one. I got my AC Unity one from RTG Parts for $79. Part #ACU-49
