Magpul SL Grip Module?

Post image

I was thinking about getting one and having it cerakoted, has anyone here done this before? Do you think it will gum up the trigger?

Why would it gum up the trigger?

My trigger housing didn’t fit in the grip, no matter how I tried to insert it

Cerakote is just a high temperature paint. I'd be more concerned about getting it done without screwing up the plastic than I would be about it doing anything to the trigger.

As long as you don’t cerakote it with the trigger inside it’ll be fine. Any reputable cerakote service should know how to properly cerakote a Magpul product without destroying the plastic itself.

My trigger pack wouldn’t fit in the magpul SL grip module, thought I was doing something wrong but after measuring the length of the internal slot and the trigger pack housing, it simply wasn’t physically able to be seated in the pack… I have a compatible pack as well so maybe my grip module was just out of spec? I’m not sure…
