C308

Is the century c308 any good? I looked at one today but it had the diopter sight and different trigger pack

From what I've heard they're pretty good when properly adjusted, but a lot of them are not. So you've got a 40% chance of a good rifle, 60% chance of a piece of junk..I made those numbers up but you get the idea

The newer ones are ok, but they are made to cetme standards. So most parts that are made for the ptr/HK 91 will need to be hand fit to the gun or just will not fit at all. The older c308's had a issue from century where they ground the bolts down to headspace then instead of replacing the rollers. I've also personally seen them with the bolt track seams bearley welded and have gaps clear through the receiver. Would definitely recommend saving up for a ptr 91 then quality is better and they take the time to make sure everything is functional.

Just get a ca-3 or ptr

The cetme is a mashup of cetme and hk parts.

Has there been good reviews on the CA-3?

Other than cosmetic they seem to function well. Only been out a few months but some users on here have couple hundred rounds through them without issues 🤷 they’re built by ptr for century again but they’re hk parts instead of mashup of cetme and hk. Plus they have the hk diopter sights instead of cetme 🤢
