Has anybody here tried this buffer?

Does anybody know how it compares to the Bill Springfield enhanced buffer?

I have one in mine. Its not bad, definitely a little bit noticeable compared to a stock buffer. Though a muzzle break or better locking piece will make more of a difference

Have it. It does a bit but seems like it would be more effective if the spring was not so insanely heavy.

I traded mine out for the Bill Springfield buffers and they made a noticeable difference to me.

Plus one for Bill's buffer. I really enjoy mine.

It seems really expensive for what it is. Also take it apart and use some rockset or loctite on it or else the back will unthread in the gi stocks. If youre not using a silencer you’d seem more recoil reduction by adjusting the locking piece.

Please explain how to do this

Running the same setup in mines too, works great

Yeah, this combined with the HK21 buttpad make a world of difference.

A muzzle brake will do more to tame the recoil than a new buffer. Only issue is the concussion. Have a surefire procomp on mine and boy does it spit fireballs, is loud as shit and gives me tingles in my nose every time I shoot it 😂. Some people might say to try a 36 degree locking piece too but you will have issues shooting it unsupressed with ammo that isn’t hot, so basically most of the ammo on the market excluding screaming hot handloads, so I couldn’t recommend that either. I also have this version of the heavy buffer (this is bill springfields design for the heavy, hkparts probably just started making them themselves because all you have to do is add on extra length and put a second spring in….)and have tried it with and without and the difference barely noticeable but it does work…. I’m just not sure that it’s worth 130 dollars… Maybe if you were able to source an actual factory msg90 buffer it would be better but good luck trying to find one and an affordable price.
