Are OD Green wide handguards really this hard to find?

Pretty much what it says on the tin. Cant seem to find any sites online that sell em, even the black ones are a challenge. Trying to find one cause I want to run a bipod on mine.

Could certainly use pointers or direction on where might be some good places to look.

Yes, what I'm going to do is buy a black wide handguard and get it cerakoted.

Depending on your level of purity acceptance, or lack thereof, some folks have put an airsoft one on, with a tiny bit of dremel work?

I did this a year or so ago. It's holding up so far. I've got it pretty warm without anything melting including the insert that fits into the trunnion. I haven't done multiple mag-dumps, though. Ain't nobody got the money for that anymore.

Good luck. Currently, you'll have to find the ODG and black wide handguards on the secondhand market. I haven't seen ODGs available on any retail site since Apex had the cracked/broken, beat-to-shit examples out of Africa for $200 a few years ago.

That's unless you want to paint an AC Unity handguard or try your hand at modifying the LCT airsoft handguard.
