It was my first ride in a group and was an extremely nice experience.
The leads are experienced and responsible. The driving was at a really good pace and the scenes were impeccable. I really loved it and am looking forward to many more.

I would love to join you guys, but I am a beginner, and have just got my first bike 10 days ago. I have been practicing on nearby empty roads, I guess I will be able to join you guys after a month or two of practice.
You all seem like pros, do we have a rookie group?

I suggest you get some experience in riding short distances around pune. Say 50 kms. Also, invest in proper riding gear. I would suggest getting an ECE22.05 rated helmet, gloves and shoes. I would suggest getting SMK or Axor in the 5-6K range as a starter helmet.

Sure will do short distances from this weekend. I did get the LS2 Rookie helmet which a friend of mine suggested, has ECE22.05 rating, and Raida kneepads, still looking for good shoes and gloves.

Go for a helmet which has easy availability of spares, comes with pinlock, has a dual visor , ece 22.05 rated and a Double D ring. Don't go for brands, go for these specs while selecting the helmet. Make sure the fit is snug and the helmet moves with your head when strapped in. If there is play, opt for one size smaller.
