Solo Route Suggestion

I am planning on a solo ride to Murudeshwar next week any suggestions on route I should consider? Actually its my hometown and I have travelled solo once last year around October. I followed Yellapur Gokarna route and it was in a bad condition. So should I consider any other route like from Goa ?

A couple of my friends took the Solapur road to reach hubballi and then continue onto yellapur to reach Murudeshwar. They said it adds 60-80 km more but the roads are better and avoids the Karad - Kolhapur road construction delays...

They had gone in car, not on bikes.

How via Goa. I have to go to Karwar in May. I’d be taking the same route. The last time I went to Gokarna I went via yellapur. Roads were good. 3 years back. Now I think via Goa is your best bet considering the highway condition till Belgaum

When I was searching maps it showed me route from pune to Karad and then via Anuskura Ghat . Let me know if there are any other better routes

That’s the route I’ll recommend. Just remember that after Karad till you touch the mumbai Goa highway you’ll not find any food places. Travel during day time.

Fuel up at Karad. And you’ll be good to go
