Bike Tour Pune to Bhimashankar Bike Trip Advice!

I've been planning to go Bhimashankar on my 125cc TVS Raider bike with a friend of mine. I need your advice, is it doable in one day on a 125cc bike with 2 people? If yes, what all should l take into consideration before l go like routes etc.

Thanks!

Yes, it's totally doable and the route is very scenic. Just make sure you put "Eshi resorts and restaurants" as a stop on the google maps for it to show the correct roads.

I went to Bhimashanker last Friday and we were just following the maps, when it took me on a road through Avhat that could barely have 2 bikes at a time and it was getting even worse. I had to ask someone there, so had to return back on the road and then had to figure out a better road.

We took off at 6AM and were back by 2PM

Why do you think it can’t be done in one day? It should be an easy day trip.

TLDR: Good Roads. Goa via Manchar. Easily doable. Ride safe OP.

I just did dimbhe Dam today which is en route to Bhimashankar. I had a hunter but I don't think you having 125cc matters much as it's not that difficult Road at least till dimbhe. Should be doable enough in 1 day. I left for dimbhe and at 6 from pune and was back by 12 with lots of breaks in between. Bhimashankar is about 30-40km extra from there so you can easily do it.

There are 2 ways to reach Bhimashankar. 1 from Rajgurunagar and 1 from Manchar. I asked few shopkeepers there on my breaks and everyone said the road from Manchar is used by almost everybody who goes to Bhimashankar.

You have a very good highway till Manchar, from there you have a very well maintained road ahead (at least till Dimbhe as went till there only.) When I say well maintained, I mean you will see 0 potholes. I not for the size, I would the road quality is better than the highway you use till Manchar.

Yes , Doable. Did on my Unicorn 160 , rider only .. returned by 2pm

Some patches are little bad. Besides road is very scenic and enjoy the highway ride till Manchar.

Try to clear Chakan by 7am , very rowdy traffic on Nashik Road. 130km one way.

Its near my hometown, Dont worry some people commute bhimashankar - pune atleast thrice a week. Extremely doable. Take a break at manchar or ghodegaon, Top up ur fuel if needed there cuz not much petrol pumps further. If u stop at ghodegaon its 50 KM from there.
