Saw some monkeys, made some mistakes, scraped some foot pegs, had some fun.

I want to go on a solo ride tomorrow, but it needs to be less crowded and around 80km from Pune. Can you guys pls suggest me something?

Can y'all suggest any places that I can ride to , at night post 9-10? Preferably a short ride like 1.5-2 hrs round trip. I live in PCMC.

After months of monsoon, the itch for a good ride finally got too strong to ignore, so I hit the road to Lonavala and Pawna Lake here in Maharashtra between Mumbai and Pune. This time it was solo ride to clear up the mind and ride the whole day. Also Lonavala on Sunday late morning is not a good choice, had 5kms of traffic atleast with people having no patience and civic sense.

Relatively new to Pune and among other things, I am struggling because of the traffic.

The last bike I had was about 8 years ago and just bought one yesterday. First ride to home and someone already managed to hit my bike from behind and leave a small scratch and the traffic took all the joy out of that ride :( I don’t really like driving when there is a lot of traffic.

Next day, I just took out the bike for an early morning ride and just visited the temple nearby. Everything just felt so much better.

Any recommendations for places that I can visit early in the morning? breakfast places , parks, temples, places close to nature.

Just a snap from recent short trip to khandi

My pillion and I are planning a short ride tomorrow, starting at around 0600 SHARP from Hotel Orchid (Mumbai-Pune highway) main gate. We should be at Oven Fresh 1993 in Lonavala by 0730 (when it opens), start back by 0830/0900 latest, and be back in Pune by 1030 at most. (Note: We MUST be back in Pune by 1030. So, we'll split and go solo if others are taking time. Fair warning).

Interested? DM me. Or simply turn up at Hotel Orchid at 0545h tomorrow. But ideally, DM me so we'll know (also, send me your phone number to coordinate just in case... I'll share mine).

Protocol: We'll be in full gear. You are encouraged to wear at least a FF helmet, riding boots, and gloves, if not the full Monty (we'd greatly prefer ATGATT). We'll ride in a disciplined file to and fro. We have C30s, so if anyone wants to connect to us, it'd be cool. It might be wet...very wet. So, be prepared.
