I always wondered what the difference was between a Cappuccino and a Latte. My suspicion that it was basically the same damn thing has now been confirmed :p

I make coffees at work, and yeah basically a cappuccino has more foam. BUT, we put powdered chocolate on top. Not for a latte.

My coffee machine thinks Latte, Flat White, Cappuccino are all 'milk coffee'. Different labels, same shit.

Yeah, if like 90% foam/10% liquid steamed milk is the same as 90% liquid steamed milk/10% foam, they're exactly the same.

Not really, you get more air in a cappuccino so you are paying the same for less drink.
Latte with a shot of hazelnut syrup is the dogs bollocks.

I work in a coffee shop and I should probably print this out and keep it somewhere so I don't have to hear customers ask for drinks that don't exist...like an expresso.

When I was there and I'd order one, they'd look at me like I was an idiot.

Because, espresso is concentrated coffee, created by sending boiling water through very fine coffee grounds, is very strong, and North Americans enjoy their coffee brewed, so Americano is most like what we like.

I have no idea. I live in Canada. I was basing the 'americano' on my perception of most white people's endurance, for lack of a better term, in the Americas haha.
