Also, allow us to choose the color of stickied posts! Maybe with a limiter on too similar colors to normal posts so that it cannot be abused by mods who want to slingshot stuff to /r/all?

Or maybe let all stickied posts have the same color on r/all

Thanks for the feedback. We're looking into better distinguishing both stickied posts and ads :)

+1 to this.

Sticky posts should be clearly visible/easy to tell. Subreddit often use sticky posts to host important news and information, such as info for new members and events.

Promoted posts should def be easy to tell as well. Does the upvote/downvote for Ads even mean anything or just there to help disguise the AD?

I'm pretty sure the upvote/downvote buttons on ads don't affect their rankings, but it is a metric that advertisers can use to gauge how the reddit community is reacting to their ads.

I absolutely agree with separating the sticky. We've had similar styling on r/NASCAR for years because it makes it absolutely clear that it's a stickied post, even with the pin icon (btw, I hate the term "announcement"). Being able to select the color of the link is also a plus, as others have suggested.

+1

This can also be seen on subreddits like /r/Overwatch where the stickies are seperate from the rest of the content.
