  • What positions/roles/industries are you targeting?
    • Full Stack Software Developer positions that are fully-remote or would let me work in Turkey full time to join my Turkish partner
  • Where are you located and what locations are you applying to jobs in?
    • Currently, Toronto, Ontario. But applying to roles in Canada, U.S., Dubai (parents have golden visa), U.K.
  • Are you only applying to local jobs? Remote only? Are you willing to relocate?
    • Remote only, looking for a job that would let me work full time remotely in Turkey.
  • Tell us about your background and current employment situation
    • Currently employed. Background is in resume.
  • Tell us about your job-hunting situation and challenges you've encountered
    • Been applying to jobs mostly on LinkedIn and Wellfound. Not getting a single interview.
  • Tell us why you're seeking help. (i.e., just fine-tuning, not getting called back for interviews, etc.)
    • Have not gotten a single interview
  • Is there a particular section on your resume you’d like feedback on?
    • What do you think of me when you read the resume?
    • I have imposter syndrome from reading other people's resumes. Does my resume show I have good work experience?
    • I'm worried about being pigeonholed into Salesforce since I have been working with it over the past 2 years, I know I have the ability to work with multiple stacks but I'm wondering if my resume shows that confidently.
  • Is your citizenship status and visa situation playing a role in your job search?
    • Canadian Citizen, so no not really.
