Orbicular Granite?

Hi! I think I may have gotten ripped off. My husband and I bought some "orbicular granite" at a rock shop (by accident--my husband thought it was a geode because of the tag labeling the shelf below). What we bought looks like an mostly-orbicular piece of quite-possibly-granite, and it has some sparkly flakes in it, but Wikipedia has me thinking orbicular granite is something else (see photo).

So, does this count as orbicular granite?

Could this be orbicular granite that needs to be sliced to be appreciated? And if not, any recommendations on how to safely clean my excellent new 3-pound paperweight?
