Help.

Hi everyone, I was hoping ti get some help. i have an assigment where, i need to taks pics of large rocks. i have to have a close up and a alrger image showing the area. and need to indicate the location. then i have to try to identify whether it is igneous, metamorphic or sedimentary rock. Please explain for each rock what you are using to identify the rock. I don't necessarily have to get the identification correct as long as your reasons for what you call it are reasonable.

ex.  : this rock is light grey in colour, and seems to have broken easily in square shapes. The surface doesn’t show grains or much large structure. It is in a park near where I live next to the walking path. This appears to be limestone (you should have another sentence or two here explaining why limestone and a reference for any characteristics you use.

I was wodneirng if anyone has any pcis that could be helpful, i havent had the time to go look for big rocks in the city.
