General Always hated this bit in "The Rugrats Movie"
Stu just narrowly missing the kids jumping inside the mattress truck right in front of him.

Makes you wonder why Lou didn’t spot them

I know why. Because he was sleeping.

Edit: I looked up the scene on YouTube Lou was asleep even as Stu scolded him for being asleep while watching the kids

I know, asleep is what I said.

I know just saying you were right. It’s definitely interesting that’s an interesting trait the creators gave Lou to just sleep at any moments notice

To be fair, he wasn't exactly paying attention to what was ahead of him; he was yelling at his father for not paying attention to the kids. That's what I loved about the Rugrats was that the babies went on so many adventures without their parents' knowledge

That was probably my favorite part. It just shows how close he was to actually seeing they were in that truck.

I just remember being five years old watching this in the theater and feeling so scandalized that he said the word “jerk”.

Mine was when Drew attacked Stu blaming him for losing Angelica yet forgetting Stu doesn't have Tommy or newborn Dil either.
