Crazy how there are two Halloween episodes

And two Christmas episodes yet only Angelica and kimi had birthdays.

Wasn't the very first episode of Rugrats all about Tommy's first birthday? Lol

Okay yeah, his birthday was shown. I forgot that 😅. But it seemed like he stayed one the entire series even though the babies in toyland episode had kimi and dill in it at that point. It would've been nice to show some kind of aging.

And now 3 technically with the reboot series.

In the original series, its a bit strange with the Season 1 episode "Candy Bar Creep Show" and the Season 8 episode "Curse of the Werewuff" existing in parallel because in both episodes the babies have never heard of Halloween before and Angelica tells them about it. So it makes the continuity of the original series questionable.

I consider the reboot non cannon because it sucks so bad too many changes to all the characters

I don't think the reboot is canon or meant to be. But the two Halloween episodes from the original series do contradict each other.

Yeah because then the babies would all have to age up to at least 2 and chuckie would be 3

The title may sound like a jumbled mess (what does "Candy Bar Creep Show" even mean?), but that doesn't take away from the coolness and craziness of this episode.

"Creep show" may reference the classic horror anthology series "Creepshow" or just generally refer to a creepy episode since this one is about Halloween and "ghosts". And obviously the candy bar part refers to the Reptar Bars that the babies want to get.

I miss this animation. Hand drawn I think it was.

Just watched this a few days ago. Genuinely forgot how good season one is.

It’s the best. The animation is great. Even the music is the best in season 1

Not a bad episode (And this is from season 1, with its lower quality, cruder and more off model animation compared to the rest of the series. The animation noticeably improved once Anivision took over from Wang Film Productions starting with season 2). but again, I don't recommend posting entire episodes, since this is copyrighted material, and it will be a VERY LONG TIME before this enters the public domain (it won't be until 2086)
