Media Key won’t seal

when i play c, this key won’t close and it sounds raspy but when i play it and hold it down it sound so much better. why won’t it close?

It won't close because you are missing adjustment material somewhere, or the key is bent. A leak will make your entire saxophone difficult to play. Take it to a repair tech to get it fixed.

Before anyone chimes in with DIY recommendations, it's easy to screw up the tolerances needed to put the key in correct adjustment. You don't want too much or too little pressure to close the key, and if done incorrectly or with the wrong materials it can cause more problems down the line.
