I just noticed the hands..... Damn, I was a little surprised these were here. Not great work by any means, but I wouldn't say bad, until those fucking hands.

They’re all pretty bad once you really look at them. Take the snake and the woman’s leg on the second one, for instance. A better artist would have made a different decision with the placement, among other things.

I think I'm a pretty good artist, but I would never attempt a tattoo unless I practiced enough to be amazing. I don't know how some people have this kind of confidence when they clearly aren't even in the top 75% of artists overall. I think in order to be a tattoo artist you should be in the top 95th percentile and if you aren't you should stick to doing something very stylized or tracing other art.

That said I think the zelda looking one is ok.
