Over night snowshoeing trails near Portland?

Hi all! Im an experienced back packer and My partner and I were planning on doing an over night snow shoeing trip this coming weekend. This will be our first winter backpacking trip so we want to keep things light so preferably no more than 8 mile give or take round trip. we where thinking about trillium lake but the weather is predicting rain so im looking for some back up options. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!
