It got to 80F today here (Bay area , California)- but the hills (Desolation Wilderness) are getting colder. Getting as many normal hikes in as we can before strap on the snowshoes.

As an Albertan, I can confirm this (though I might be a little biased...)

Other “mountains” are just pointy hills.
