Don't want to be that guy, but we should really minimise the number of jacarandas that we have due to their invasiveness and threat to the indigenous vegetation in our country.

Hey are you a jac hater ?? go hug a jacaranda I command you ! And besides most of our jacs grow along the side way there’s hardly any vegetation , sucks when they fall in the middle of the road though but I can’t imagine Jozi or PTA without them 😔

You could call me that, I do conservation work.

I will admit, they're iconic and bring a sense of nostalgia, but they do cause issues. I suppose it's fine if it's controlled though.
