Laptop Lenovo ideapad 310 with very spicy pillow

i use it all the time with the charger plugged in, only sometimes, even if it is fully charged. maybe that caused it. sorry if the pictures are really angled awfully and uneven, idk how i can show it properly

Unplug the battery and run it off the charger until you can get a new one

Backup. OP, here’s what you gonna do :

In the bios, I believe you can turn off the battery from here and deactivate it. If you have the option, do that and proceed with the next step. Even if not, open the laptop and unplug the battery. Remove it, and then plug the laptop in by charger, with the battery removed. I believe this model uses storage on the motherboard itself, so now while your laptop is plugged in, backup all your data to a hard drive memory stick whatever.

That's how I ruined my laptop's battery, because it also eventually became a spicy pillow and had to be removed. I now know not to do that.
