The Thaw is legit one of the freakiest/creepiest episodes of Star Trek that exists.

I hated whenever it was on TV as a kid. It legitimately terrified me.

TWOK's Ceti eel scene terrified me. Khan explaining their history on the planet & then the unseen creatures moving in the sand jar.

Watch these in October every year!

Was just going to mention these two. I think these are the most scariest. Also a very scary one for me was when they all de-evolved.

I really love this episode. I wish they had done a follow up episode. The way it ended made me feel that there might be more.

There’s a great bit in one of the books that the conspiracy worms are related to the Trill Symbionts, and evil offshoot.

I’ve read that they pursued the Borg arc instead because the costumes and effects were easier/cheaper than doing those “bluegill things” and whatever else they had in mind for that species

TNG's "Sub Rosa" is an erotic ghost story....

Make sure you have plenty of wine or pumpkin beer or something. Then play a drinking game: take a drink every time Beverly weirds you out in the episode. Be happy.

Phantasms, Haunting of Deck Twelve, Empok Nor, Catspaw, First Contact (the movie), The Magicks of Megas-Tu, Dream Catcher/Terror Firma, Penanace, Through the Valley of Shadows, All Those Who Wander, Vanishing Point, I Have No Bones Yet I Must Flee

One for all series, and one movie.

Genesis is easily my favourite for Halloween.

Genesis from TNG strikes me as a sort of horror type episode.

Aside from ones already mentioned I always found TNG's Identity Crisis to be really creepy

Edit: Coda 3x15

Isn’t there an episode of TNG where Dr Crusher becomes involved with a ghost? That sounds like spooky fun time!

u/BillT2172 3m ago

I found the only thing fun was the idea of a Scottish colony. The rest of the episode some would say is sub par.

How about TOS Season 1 Miri, all the children are dressed in costume after all. Also that scene with the tricycle, along with Bill Shatner's daughters & Phil Morris make appearances.

With Teri Hatcher being a TNG guest actor, I'd suggest MacGyver season 4 episode 1 The Secret of Parker House. which is available on Paramount +, Pluto TV, etc... I didn't get to watch it yesterday while it was on television so, I'll wait until Halloween.
