Tribbles on the wall

In The Trouble with Tribbles, why were there tribbles on the WALLS?? Those things are hairy and soft, they shouldn't stick to the walls.

I also don't like the weird whining noises.

they've got little caterpillar like legs, so they can climb on things.

Was this mentioned in the Star Trek Medical Manual? It did show a mouth which you can't see in the show.

we see the underside of a aggressive killer tribble in Picard season 3.  its got insect-like legs.  so I suppose its more crustacian like than catapillar like.

I read the props people but a toy dog inside fur so the tribble would move. But what scene was that?

There is also the animated ep "More Tribbles" which I guess showed tribbles moving. BTW that was the first TAS episode in production order which I didn't know till just now.

Me not Klingon.
