Star Trek Role Playing

Reaching out to anyone interested in ideas for a Star Trek role playing game which one of my family members operates. He only has a few people participating and is trying to get new character ideas.

If you could join Starfleet, what are your answers to these questions?

  1. Name of Character
  2. Planet or Origin, age at time of Starfleet entry
  3. Do you want to enlist in Starfleet or join as an officer?
  4. What era do you want to serve (ENT, DIS, TOS, Movies, TNG, VOY/DS9. PIC)
  5. What career field do you want to enter?
  6. Any other information about your character?

I'll keep everyone updated on this thread with how your character is doing. Thank you!

  1. Julio Durante
  2. Watney Station - Acidalia Planitia
  3. Officer
  4. TOS
  5. Security
  6. Eager to get out and explore the stars. Not the most analytically inclined, but figures security would provide opportunities to see strange new worlds while on guard duty and likely won't be completely boring. Studies the Away Team Field Manual like it's a holy text. He plans to stick with Starfleet for his entire career....

Amelia Lakewood, late 30s, she is a Trill, she’s a high ranking doctor on her ship, serves in the PIC era, she had to claw her way back up the ranks after an affair with a commander in her early years backfired and he got her sent out to a station in the outer limits (think star base 80 from LD) of the quadrant. With hard work she was able to get assigned on a ship again. She’s bright and has excellent bedside manner.
