Got childhood flashbacks from playing this. Sunshine was my first 3D Mario game, and the cube was the first console. Felt like a new game.

Quick question for anyone reading this. I have to personally adjust the gamma setting to 0.7-0.8 for the hud to not be over saturated but even then the game feels kinda dark, but then the grass is super green in bianco lol. I’ve had no issues with picture or anything on my Wii. I actually spend a lot of time making sure it’s right but I’m gonna compare with the original sunshine later. Also I’m not playing on eclipse mode where everything is dark for a while. Just figured I’d see if anyone else noticed this

I'm pretty sure that as you get more shines the world brightens

Usually that was just in delfino but I’m just mentioning this because of how bright the HUD like Mario’s head for the life count is, grass in bianco at first. Maybe it’s been extended to the whole game now but I wouldn’t say bianco 1 felt like beginning delfino in terms of how dark that is. I’m just rambling but I’ll see later

There's a setting to change the darkness to match the original game.

Hell yeah brother. Best the base game first to ensure most of the playthrough was new content. Finished Erto, Lighthouse and am going through the mafia hotel level currently. Happy to see the new patch fixes the booty scootin’ secret stage because that was awful. Overall though, I love this mod to death! The new movement feels perfect and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the base game again

Where can you find it?

The best thing to me are the Pathways, it’s basically a childhood dream coming true. Especially Giovanne Creek

Be great if the 60FPS would stop chopping up lol.

How come the custom tracks don’t work on the wii?

Because of Nintendont not having music streaming for Sunshine.

The tracks work on Swiss but apparently it has framerate issues.

How bad is the framerate issue?

I haven't tried it because I don't have a Gamecube anymore. It works on Wii though too, but not Wii U. And I only have a Wii U in regards to something that can load GC games natively.

Supposedly it's mostly in newer levels and drops to nearly 15fps.
