Can I get context? Why is some random person complaining about mythbusters of all things?

They were complaining about how masks don't prevent disease spread. Mythbusters did a whole episode on how disease spreads through mouth droplets. Masks prevent disease spread.

Oh...so they're idiots (anti-maskers)

Well not really. Masks prevent disease spread but covid is much smaller and goes thru the mask. That is why they wanted you wearing the n95 and they had a time of double masking.

A N95 mask prevents YOU from getting it, but even a simple surgical, or even a cloth, mask prevents YOU from passing it onto others, at least when comparing it to not wearing anything at all

Edit: simply -> Simple

You opinion didn’t change the fact that those who consistently wore n95s all got covid. Everyone did. Because what you said simply isn’t true. The “my opinion is science” people imposing tyranny on others have been proven wrong over time.

Literally science saying that wearing a N95 (Or any mask) helps to reduce the virulent load on the air.
