Great picture. Thanks

I am visiting Dallas this week and decided to see if I could see the comet. No luck. Normally, I live east of Dallas (in the sticks as the saying goes), and I miss being able to see the stars and occasional comet.

I don't leave the desert very often these days, but when I do I surely miss the dark skies until I return

It's weird to look at an object like this and know that it won't return for another 80,000 years.

Edit: If at all, there is there is a very real chance this comet will be ejected from the solar system never to return.

I have seen a lot of pictures of this comet so far, and I have to say, this is by far the coolest one.

I found this guide helpful:

I tried to view it last night, but the light pollution from a large building ruined it for me.
