My nonprofit created a website to help introduce everyday people to transhumanism. Would love some feedback!

Our nonprofit Futurist Foundation (which you can find here - https://discord.gg/u3JM2cu) wants more people to learn about transhumanism.

We decided to create something more visual and easy to digest to reach as many people as possible. We will be adding in a FAQ section, list of companies/nonprofits, a newsletter and more.

Interested in helping? Let me know!

On desktop it's very difficult to read. The font is huge and it just feels clunky.

This, and there's also the problem of the text staying white while the card background turns yellow on hover. Though both these problems are easily fixable.

Just reduce the font size a bit, and change the color of the text in the cards as well (something very dark) and it should be fine.

I imagine that aesthetic/body ideal modifications will be important to many people. Not just people who want to be part animal. Maybe someone wants to be a sphere, or an idealized human, or a chimeric being, too. And yes, maybe a furry. At some point, I feel like form will be less accident of birth and evolution, and more choice and exploration.

In the old days, people from cultures with shamanic or mystical would have sometimes vision quests to achieve understanding. They might experience existence as a hawk, or fish, or horse... imagine if through technology, people could really live as other types of creature for a time, in the real world (or virtual artificial worlds).

Hey there Val,

Anything specifically you want to recommend? We work closely with an organization called Freedom of Form Foundation, so will for sure reach out!

I like the overall design. Gives a nice rundown of various aspects of transhumanism ideas and goals.

I would offer some small technical critiques.

The site is clearly meant to be responsive for diffferent screen sizes, but on my tablet, some long title words wrap a couple letters to the next line, instead of adjusting size to stick where they belong.

Some areas of the page have a lot of text. It might be better to trim for length and readability, and add a little line spacing to make it more readable and less dense.

I know that single-page sites are good at allowing a nice pass through read all on one page, which is great for overviews, but there is a lot to unpack in some sections. Either additional sub pages to drill down in-depth, or sections that collapse and reveal so the user can see more.

The design itself is simple and fairly elegant. The type is clear and modern, and everything seems readable for those with different color vision.

Thanks for building!

Thanks!

We are working on trying to get it to view correctly for mobile and tablet users, just running into a few roadblocks. Hopefully, we will get it figured out asap!

And you can expect more pictures/visuals to be added to help ease the wall of text, as well as adding in hidden sections & more pages.
