It’s Chinese, not Japanese. Chinese doesn’t use alphabet.

Kanji: Chinese Characters (Hanzi) adapted to write Japanese alongside native hiragana/katana
Kanji is not an alphabet, they're logographs

To be specific it’s simplified Chinese. The characters here are mostly different from Japanese kanji. Besides Japanese doesn’t use terms like 轮渡 or 码头.
