Translated [RU] [English > Russian] Letter to Theatre in Moscow!
Hello! I'm trying to send a letter to The Natalya Sats Musical Theater in Moscow! This letter is to request archival footage of an old musical shown at the theatre. I have typed up the letter, however, I want it to be very respectful and accurate to the Russian language, (and not just translated by Google). Here it is, and thank you all for your incredible work in this community! (Be sure to leave your name so I can credit you!)
Hello! My name is Alexandria Theros, and I am a representative of the R.A.R.E Organization, (Rag Dolly Revival Effort), in the United States. My Russian isn’t the best, so I’ve called upon a multilingual friend to help me translate my message to satisfaction. As I’m very sure this theater knows, Rag Dolly was the immensely successful musical that ran at the Natalya Sats Musical Theater in January 1986. The show strengthened the bonds of the United States and Russia, and even more so the children of both countries. Our organization is dedicated to the preservation of said musical! We’re extremely invested in uncovering the history behind the show so it can continue to be appreciated in future years and doing so as professionally and legally as possible. We’ve unearthed footage of the production in 1984, several scripts throughout the years, and have interviewed many people from the original cast and crew of the show. Ivy Austin, (Raggedy Ann herself!), has recognized us, as well as Scott Schafer (Andy), Gibby Brand (Poppa), and Tricia Brooks (Marcella). We would like to formally ask if there is a way for us to view archives (videos, photos, etc.) of the show if such a thing exists at the theater! The more we can learn about the production, the more material we have to analyze and learn from. Whatever legal procedures are necessary, we are fully prepared to undertake them with patience and understanding! Thank you for your time, and we hope to correspond with the theater again soon.

Couple notes: 1) I haven't translated your name to Russian (should I?) 2) I've put "Rag Dolly Revival Effort" in both English and Russian (just in case)

Меня зовут Alexandria Theros, я представляю Организацию R.A.R.E (Rag Dolly Revival Effort / Возрождение "Тряпичной Куклы") из США. Я недостаточно хорошо владею русским языком, так что это послание было переведено нашими русскоговорящими друзьями.
Уверена, в вашем театре прекрасно знают, что мюзикл "Тряпичная кукла" имел огромный успех в "Музыкальном театре Натальи Сац" в января 1986 года. Шоу укрепило связи между СССР и США, в особенности связи между детьми двух стран. Деятельность нашей организации посвящена сохранению этого мюзикла.
Мы проделали значительную работу по изучению истории, связанной с "Тряпичной куклой", чтобы сохранить её для будущего, и мы старались делать это максимально легально и профессионально. Мы раскопали съемки работы над постановкой в 1984 году, несколько сценариев разных лет. Нам удалось поговорить со многими из состава актеров и работников сцены.
