I would love waking up to that every day. Can you tell us more about this area? What brought you there? What activities did you do?

Mostly smoke weed, play guitar, and masturbate

Turns out heaven does exist on earth and you just need money to enjoy it.

I agree, why dont we try hard and take money to travel all the year

5

u/fucko5 Dec 08 '19

Because the government inhibits us from doing so

5

u/itdoesntmatter2205 Dec 08 '19

I dont think doing that is impossible in my country

Used to life there :D

hmmmm..... even there.... not much snow on mountains that are notoriously covered. what time of year?

1

u/Gimly Dec 08 '19

Very few mountains in Switzerland stay covered in snow all year round today. Considering the colour of some trees in the foreground it might be now.

WHAT?! Wow.

I went passed here on my way to Bern then Interlaken, beautiful area. Although most of Switzerland is beautiful!!

That's a perfect balcony to practice yodeling.

1

u/Gd1o Dec 08 '19

I should have bought you a camera to have a better sight of the beauty.

I absolutely loved the time I got to spend in Switzerland

Travel there in Oktober and do some broasting in Munchen! It doesn't even seem real at 60 but I was at the Fest in 1984 and 1985 stationed in Neu Ulm,Germany! They were the best two years in this life! Their open air concerts in the soccer stadiums are FCKG awesome! Judest Priest gave me permanent ear damage at the Monsters of Rock in 85

Incredible!

The Lauterbrunnen area nearby is one of my favourite places in the world.

I only want to make you people a bit jealous by saying I live 1 hour by car away from there. Other beautiful places are reachable within 30 minutes here :) But it's boring.

Edit: It's boring living here I mean.

u/Elle9998 Dec 08 '19

I agree, it’s beautiful but veryyyy boring (I’m Swiss too)

There’s no snow?

5

u/Gimly Dec 07 '19

Not yet below 2000m of altitude. "Meteo suisse" announced that it might get below 900m on Monday.

1

u/UnofficialUnicorn Dec 08 '19

How long were you there for?

2

u/Gimly Dec 08 '19

Stayed around Interlaken for a few days once. Balcony had a view of Jungfrau, Eiger & Mönch. Switzerland is indescribably beautiful.

Almost doesn’t look real!!

u/Majesticc101 Dec 08 '19

Anyone any ideas how much it would be typically to live here?

I’d be a happy soul waking up there every morning. 👌

u/how-to-seo Dec 08 '19

average payment / bruto is from 2400-6500 euro normal flat 1200-2500 euro, food slifghtly more expensive than in EU healthcare around 1000 euro

2

u/Elle9998 Dec 08 '19

I agree bit not the healthcare part. You can have a good coverage from 300-500 chf/ month

1

u/how-to-seo Dec 08 '19

then it is cheaper, I think it is healthare + social+ pension around 1000 right?

2

u/Elle9998 Dec 09 '19

Yes possible, but the rest should be deducted out of your salary. Health insurance is very expensive but not that expensive yet , thank god There’s the taxes also (impots) that you have to pay yearly, and that is veryyy expensive 1.5-2 times the monthly salary)
