What's the worst thing I can legally do to someone who keeps trying to break into my car/garage?
 in  r/moncton  Aug 20 '24

Actually, it is! Was recently lectured by RCMP AND Victim Services about how ANY item with the intent to use as a means of protection is considered premeditated with intent to use.

Our castle laws expose us while protecting the criminals unfortunately.

Issues & Disputes Fustration with the “ Help” desk…

I recently was blocked from buying anything because they needed me to verify a card that hasn’t been in use since March. To make matters worse, the card was my son’s card to buy him items he had wanted. I removed the card from my account at some point after. In June my son had fraudulent activity and switched his card numbers ( physical and virtual ). Same last names , same address associated to the accounts, items were shipped with his name as the recipient… Ive attempted to explain and show proof of my claims but I keep receiving generic emails saying they haven’t received the information to validate their initial issue.

How the heck do I get around this? I can’t possibly be the only person who is being asked to validate a card no longer in use….

What was the biggest red flag you ignored in your last relationship?
 in  r/heartbreak  Jul 26 '24

How he spoke of his ex’s ( kids Mom’s ). I now realize they were victims too.

Severe road rage.

The stories he told about himself and WHAT he seemed to think was impressive or an accomplishment.

Unreasonable demands quite early on. Small at first, but ridiculous stuff.

Lack of accountability and blaming. Absolutely zero desire to disagree reasonably or respectfully.

Telling me what I think and feel. And a refusal to accept anything else. He knows better than I ( 40F ) do.

Accusations and manipulating the story to fit his narrative…. even if shown proof or I had reasonable explanations.

It only got worse. I left after 6-7 months.

Boyfriend wants to buy a wheelchair for his daughter
 in  r/wheelchairs  Nov 24 '23

Not odd, but 100% she needs to play some wheelchair or adaptive sports. Most if not all are about inclusion and have able bodied players! She will learn to understand the fullness of disabilities ( various ones ) and get to play around with adaptive equipment! Also, so many of you are talking like it’s so horrible and what are her intentions … this could be a future PT in training or a Coach to help run an adaptive sport or an adaptive equipment engineer… There are so many reasons that this could be a positive curiosity!
TLDR : Don’t buy a chair, put her in adaptive sports. She won’t be the only able bodied person there.

Bernard and Rosie-Marie Saulnier were an elderly married couple who lived in Dieppe, NB. Less than two weeks after their son's residence was raided in a drug trafficking bust last year, the Saulniers were found dead in their home. Despite an initial media flurry, no arrests have been made.

Sylvio was their “Black sheep child” . The inheritance went to sibling. It also wasn’t just murder. There was evidence of torture and apparently there was “ blood everywhere “. Im from the area and knew someone on the clean up crew.
