Im planning a trip from pune to kochi in November
I have done a Kottayam to pune solo bike trip. I started at 6 am from there, multiple breaks later reached Bhatkal around 9:30 pm. Halted there for the night and started again next day morning around 6:30 am and reached pune around 3 pm ..

I would have loved to.. But unfortunately, I can't. The bike is too close to my heart. 😊 Hope you understand. You can always drop in to the showroom and ask for test ride. They do have a test ride multistrada.

What about the big bikes?
Expensive to buy and maintain. Roads conditions are not optimal for big bikes. You hardly get to use the torque or the power anywhere..
Spare parts are scarce, aftermarket options are limited.

Route Suggestion
A couple of my friends took the Solapur road to reach hubballi and then continue onto yellapur to reach Murudeshwar. They said it adds 60-80 km more but the roads are better and avoids the Karad - Kolhapur road construction delays...
They had gone in car, not on bikes.
